Important Note For Storing MAX I

MAX I does not tolerate heat or light and will lose its effectiveness if exposed to either for extended periods of time. The company guarantees the useful life of MAX I for one full year provided that the opened container is kept refrigerated after opening. If you purchase several bottles of MAX I and wish to set some of them aside for future use you may keep them in the freezer section of your refrigerator. Placing containers of MAX I in the freezer will extend the life of the adhesive indefinitely.

Instructions For Use

It is important that the surfaces to be bonded are cleaned before applying MAX I adhesive. In the case of glass, as an example, each of the surfaces to be bonded should be free of oil or grease and thoroughly cleaned with either acetone or white spirits which should be allowed to dry naturally before applying the adhesive.

As with all adhesives, MAX I performs better when the components to be bonded are free of rust, oil, grease or residues from previous adhesives. If previous glue or old paint are present on the surfaces to be joined it may be necessary to slightly roughen the area with sandpaper and then clean before applying MAX 1. This will ensure a strong and lasting bond. Even though the immediate bond between surfaces is incredibly strong, MAX 1 can become even stronger when allowed to cure at room temperature over an eight hour period. When bonding highly absorbent materials it may be necessary to use more adhesive than normal, however MAX I is much more effective when using a thin veneer on non‑absorbent materials.

Safe & Considerations

Even though MAX I is a non toxic bio‑degradable adhesive, as with all other chemical compounds it is important to observe the following safety rules:

1. Never inhale the vapors from the adhesive.

2. Do not swallow MAX 1.

3. Avoid contact with the skin or eyes. If the adhesive should get into the eyes flush liberally with eye wash and seek medical advice immediately. In the case of skin contact wash the area with hand cleaner or warm soapy water.

MAX I is a technically advanced version of a cyanoacrylate adhesive. When using these adhesives observe the following:

1. Never attempt to cut the applicator nozzle open if the MAX I container is pointed directly towards yourself.

2.    Keep MAX I out of reach of children at all times.
